Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has admitted to sometimes missing her old body in a heartfelt Instagram post.
She reflected on the familiarity and comfort of her previous physique, acknowledging that it was a significant part of her identity.
Despite these feelings, Eniola celebrated her transformation, highlighting both physical and emotional growth.
She expressed gratitude for how her new body has carried her through significant life changes and personal challenges.
The actress emphasized that although she feels different, her body remains hers, and she continues to learn to love and appreciate it.
Reassuring her followers, Badmus reminded them that her transformation has not altered her worth as a person.
In her post, she wrote:
“There are days when I miss my old body—the fullness, the softness, the way I took up space without hesitation. I miss how familiar it felt, how I knew its curves like the back of my hand, how certain outfits hugged me just right. There was comfort in that body, a sense of identity I never had to question.
But then, I look at my new body, and I see growth—not just physically but emotionally. This body has carried me through change, challenges, moments of doubt, and discovery. It moves differently, it feels differently, but it is still mine. And just as I learned to love my body before, I am learning to love this one now.
Missing who I was doesn’t prevent me from appreciating who I am becoming. Both versions of me deserve love, respect, and kindness.”
Her words resonated with many fans, serving as a reminder that self-love and acceptance are ongoing journeys.
Badmus continues to inspire her audience by embracing change and advocating for self-appreciation at every stage of life.
