The Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), Coordinator, Chief Reuben Wilson has urged APC stakeholders in Bayelsa State to come together in preparation for the 2027 general elections, he emphasised the importance of unity as they prepare to wrestle power from PDP in 2027.
Wilson posits that the APC convincingly won the last gubernatorial election in Bayelsa but were robbed by the PDP , he said that with unity, APC can take over governance of the state and still maintain the center.
Full of praises for President Bola Tinubu’s performance, Wilson stated that , having performed creditably, the President deserve support from Bayelsa state come 2027.
In a meeting he convened, stakeholders ranging from unit coordinators, ward coordinators, constituency, senatorial, local government, leadership of the Initiative, women leaders, men, state working committee, and other groups came together with the aim of rallying support for the APC’s mission to win the next gubernatorial election in the state while calling for a robust membership drive.
Dennis Otiotio, the Bayelsa APC Chairman, commended Pastor Reuben Wilson for his empowerment and support for the party, acknowledging that he has so far empowered over 1,000 APC members.
Represented by the State Organizing Secretary, Dr. Coronation Tokpo, the chairman emphasized the need for the party to be united so as to wrestle power from the PDP come 2027.
Many party stalwarts including The State Youth Leader, Donny Sigah harped on unity, they called on members to bury their differences to form a formidable team to unseat PDP in the state.
