Delta State College of Nursing Science has withdrawn the query issued to student Osatohemwen Edobor after public backlash.
Edobor was questioned for sharing a video of nursing students refusing to sing praises for First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at an event in Asaba.
The query sparked criticism from activists and lawyers, leading to its reversal.
In a letter dated March 28, 2025, Provost Mrs. R. Evbödaghe confirmed the withdrawal, following a directive from the state’s Commissioner for Health. The school expressed regret over the incident.
