The Chief Executive Officer of Jamsalod Nigeria Limited Engr Jamiu Ogundele has urged the Muslim faithful to use the period of Eid celebration to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, humility and respect for one another.
Engr. Jamiu Ogundele, in a Sallah message, called on the Muslim faithful to use the period to pray for prosperity, peace and security of Ogun state and Nigeria at large.
He noted that Ramadan fasting inculcates patience, devotion, self-control, truthfulness, humility, kindness, tolerance, forgiveness and other virtues of Islam which should be maintained after the fasting period.
The philanthropist also enjoined the constituents irrespective of their religious affiliations to live together in peace and harmony as they were all created by God to fulfil His purpose.He commended Islamic clerics and the entire Muslim Ummah for their relentless prayers which have sustained Ikale nation and Nigeria expressing optimism that better days are ahead.
He calls on all Muslims to put into practice lessons learnt during the Ramadan period and to love and share with the less privileged in society as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.
He urged Muslims in the state to celebrate in moderation and also use the period to make supplications for Nigeria to overcome its social, political, economic and security challenges.
