Bisola Kola-Daisi (née Ajimobi), the first daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42.
She reportedly died in the United Kingdom after a brief illness. Until her passing, Bisola served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and together they had three children.
Former Senator Teslim Folarin confirmed her death in an emotional tribute on Facebook, expressing his deep sorrow over the tragic loss.
“I am deeply saddened to receive the news of the passing of Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi (née Ajimobi), the beloved daughter of my cousin, the late Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, and former First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency (Dr.) Florence Ajimobi,” he wrote.
He described Bisola’s passing as a profound personal loss, offering heartfelt condolences to her mother and the entire Ajimobi family.
The news has left many in mourning, with tributes pouring in from political figures, friends, and well-wishers.
