Crisis Looms in Ogun State as Tensions Rise Between Park Managers and NURTW

Ogun State is on the brink of a potential crisis as Alhaji Abodunrin, the Chairman of the Ogun State Park Management (OGSPAM), has raised alarm bells over an alleged impending attack by the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). In a statement to Amebo Newspapers over the weekend, Abodunrin expressed serious concerns about the safety of park managers and their operations in the state.

According to Abodunrin, there have been unsettling reports indicating that members of the NURTW, led by Alhaji Mustapha Yaro, are preparing to launch aggressive actions against park managers. He emphasized that such moves would not only destabilize the already delicate transportation system in Ogun State but could also lead to violent confrontations that would put many lives at risk.

In contrast, Alhaji Mustapha Yaro, the Chairman of the NURTW in Ogun State, has vehemently denied these allegations. He has publicly stated that there are no plans for any attacks against park managers or any other groups in the state. In several publications over the past week, Yaro has called for peace and dialogue, urging all parties involved to settle their differences amicably rather than resorting to violence.
