The popular club in the heart of Abeokuta City, Abeokuta Sports Club has commiserated with High Chief Mutiu Adebowale, The Managing Director of First August, a multimillion construction company over the death of his mother, Alhaja Chief Mrs Khadijat Adebisi Edonsere today 6th of January, 2024.

DEATH OF CASH MADAM: OUR CONDOLENCES TO HIGH CHIEF MUTIU ADEBOWALE
Abẹokuta Sports Club has announced the death of one of the Club's Vice Patrons and an illustrious daughter of Ẹgba land, *Chief Mrs Adebisi Edionsere* (aka, Cash Madam).
Chief Mrs Edionsere, a renowned businesswoman, philanthropist and frontline socialite, reportedly died on Sunday, 5th January 2025, at 89.
In a time like this, our 'Cooperative hearts' are with High Chief Mutiu Adebowale, a member of our Cooperative Society and a son of the deceased. High Chief Adebowale is a benefactor of the Society; every December, he has consistently supported our Investment Committee with funds to enhance their trades, including during the just concluded Christmas and New Year festivities.
We condone with him and pray that our good Lord strengthens him during this difficult time. We equally condone the President, Prince 'Seni Ogunyemi, and all members of Abeokuta Sports Club for this loss of an illustrious member.
May Allah grant Mama Adebisi Edionsere Jannatul Firdaus as she is committed to Mother Earth later today, in the evening, at her Ibara GRA Residence.
