The YAPI Foundation has expressed heartfelt appreciation for the exemplary work done by Hon. Isiaka Ibrahim Ayokunle (MHR) in the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, especially during his current term in office. His initiatives in educational support, empowerment programs, and palliative support projects have significantly impacted the growth of communities and the well-being of the people, making positive changes that are palpable to all.
Amb. Olayemi Paul, the Founder and National President of YAPI Foundation, recalls his initial engagement with Hon. Ayokunle, where he sought proof of the lawmaker’s contributions to the constituency. Despite facing scrutiny, Paul was surprised by Ayokunle’s openness to constructive dialogue. Rather than viewing Paul as an adversary, the representative recognized him as a catalyst for change, welcoming his bold demands for accountability from political officeholders.
As a dedicated advocate for good governance, Paul has consistently defended the people's interests, ensuring that their voices are heard. "I have had numerous strategic planning discussions with Hon. Isiaka on initiatives for the youth and community members, and he has always been receptive to new ideas," Paul noted. "Even if a proposed idea isn't feasible at the moment, he takes the time to explain why and works to reframe it to align with his plans."
Ambassador Paul popularly known as YAPI commended Rt Hon Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka’s sincere commitment to the development of the Federal Constituency, highlighting his investments in human capital, education, and agriculture. The establishment of a science laboratory at Odewale Secondary School in the Agbado area serves as a prime example of Ayokunle's foresight, creating an educational structure that will benefit future generations.
Hon. Isiaka Ibrahim Ayokunle has also demonstrated a strong commitment to transparency and accountability. His town hall meetings have provided constituents with a platform to discuss his stewardship and share their experiences with various empowerment programs. "Politicians and some community members may celebrate, but it is time to prioritize the needs of the less privileged through improved health services," Paul stated.
