Egbe explained that his operations lies in its meticulous attention to quality. Every project undertaken is executed with precision, adhering strictly to FIFA and CAF standards. These standards ensure that the pitches meet global specifications for safety, playability, and durability, making them suitable for hosting elite competitions and nurturing grassroots talents.
He noted that his company collaboration with Sports Scientists further enhances its capability to design and construct facilities that cater to the nuanced demands of Athletes and Sports organizations.
He added that Monimichelle Sports is also at the forefront of addressing widespread misconceptions about synthetic turf pitches in Africa. One such myth is the blanket acceptance of 100% rubber pitches, particularly those using black rubber granules. Highlighting developments in Europe, where the European Union has banned such pitches due to safety concerns raised by players.
Ezekiel stated that his company promotes synthetic turf with plant-based infill, which not only adheres to eco-friendly practices, but also replicates natural ball movement and enhances player safety. This innovation underscores the importance of adopting contemporary solutions that align with global advancements in Sports technology.
He concluded that constructing a top-tier pitch is only half the battle; regular maintenance is equally critical. Poor maintenance practices can compromise even the most advanced installations, leading to subpar performance and safety issues.
