Police Baretta Football Club of Gombe has won an 18-seater bus worth ₦30 million after clinching the New Year Mega Lottery NLO Super 8 title.
They emerged champions by defeating Family Worship Champions FC of Abuja 6-5 on penalties, following a goalless draw (0-0) during regulation time.
The final match took place at the Bwari Stadium Complex in Abuja on Saturday, where both teams showcased commendable performances deserving of the trophy.
As a reward for their remarkable achievement in winning the unbeaten championship, Police Baretta received a dummy key to the 18-seater bus.
In March, when the NLO announced New Year Mega Lottery as its title sponsor, they stated that the overall winner of the NLO Division One would receive an 18-seater bus valued at ₦30 million sponsored by the New Year Mega Lottery.
Additionally, the lottery firm, which is licensed by the Nigeria Lottery Commission, provided five match balls and badges for all registered clubs in the nation’s third-tier league.
