Amebo Newspaper gathered that Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Lornem Alia of Benue State has demonstrated a strong commitment to elevating the state’s Sports infrastructure, and a major step in this vision is the award of a contract to Monimichelle Limited, a leading Sports facility development company in the country.
This project aims to transform Benue’s primary stadium in Makurdi into a world-class facility that will not only serve as a hub for Sports ,but also boost the state’s reputation at the National and international stages.
The Governor’s decision underscores his dedication to fostering youth development, creating employment opportunities and positioning Benue as a leader in Sports excellence.
By partnering Monimichelle, known for delivering top-tier Sports infrastructure, the State ensures that the stadium will meet global standards, comparable to some of the best facilities around.
CEO of Monimichele Limited, Ebi Egbe,told our reporter that the project “aligns with the Governor’s administration’s broader vision to promote economic growth through Sports tourism and empower local talent with top-notch training facilities.”
He also told Amebo Newspaper that the Governor reiterates that any opposition to the project
tantamount to standing against the development of Benue State sports.
“The Governor was emphatic that the project was not about him. He describes it as about the people of Benue State and the future of its youth.
He told them that anyone who distracts from or opposes this vision was against the progress and prosperity of the state.
As construction progresses under Monimichelle’s expertise, expectations are high for the unveiling of a facility that will stand as a beacon of hope and development for the State.
