Tony Oneweek is unarguably one of the few old guards in the Nigerian entertainment industry who has remained consistent and relevant in his trade Amebo Newspaper learnt.
Amebo Newspaper correspondent also gathered that the movie practitioner cum comedian turned musician, debuted in the world music scene way back in 1998 with his monster hit "U Go Bow". Till date, he reigns supreme in his Gyration genre.

Since his return, Tony Oneweek has dropped singles like "Play" featuring Kolaboy, "Game", "Senior man featuring MC Ezegetive", and "Zero Zero Hour"
However, Tonyoneweek revealed to our reporter that about two months ago, in a song by Aguero Banks, the popular Nigerian rap musician Phyno Fino, in an unprecedented show of eulogy, dropped the now famous lines "Abum Tony Oneweek, for ten years I no weak. Ebum the game I no miss.". It is not common for an artist of Phyno's caliber to write anyone into his song lyrics. This song "Hero" by Aguero Banks ft Phyno is the inspiration for Tony Oneweek's new song titled "Ome way."
He concluded that his song "The song Ome Way was born as Tony Oneweek's expression of his appreciation for the honor done him by Phyno. Tony is a living legend whose legacy transcends Gyration music.
