Abia Comets' Management Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late John Onuoha




The Abia Comets Football Club, management, on Wednesday, November 20,2024,  paid condolence visit, to the family of the late John Onuoha, a former team manager /staff of the club, who passed away two months ago after a protracted illness. 


The chairman,  Chief Boniface Alozie Uche, who was represented by the Admin Secretary of the Club, Mr Hyacinth Ezindu, led the management that visited the bereaved family at their home, Umuohu Okpula, Ndume, Umuahia.



Haycith Ezindu expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of John Onuoha, whom he described as a valuable member of the Abia Comets Football Club. He acknowledged his contributions and positive impacts to the club's success adding that his death is not only a loss to his family but to the Abia Comets family and the entire football community in Abia State and beyond. 


" We're here to sympathize and condole  the family over the death of our former Staff, John Onuoha. He played a big role in helping the club to get were it is now, and he will  truly be missed by everyone at the club including the management and players, Mr Hyacinth Ezindu said.


During the visit, the management presented a cash cheque to the family to assist  in the burial.


Speaking on behalf of the family, the wife of the diseased,  Mrs Roseline John Onuoha thanked the Chairman, Chief Boniface Uche, and the management for identifying with the family in their time of sorrow. she  described the visit as a demonstration of the strong bond between the Abia Comets and its staffs and urged him to sustain it. 


She said the club's commitment to supporting her staffs and their families goes beyond football field activities but extends to her well-being both on and off the pitch.


The late Jonn Onuoha, who was the former team manager of the club, played a huge role in the club's growth and would  truly be missed by everyone at the club.
