LYF Gets International Boost: Torino FC Partners Lagos

The excitement was palpable as the selected players from the recent Summer camp resumed their training today at the Coker Aguda Stadium Surulere Lagos, eager to showcase their skills for the upcoming tryouts and scouting programs. Little did they know, their talents would soon be on full display for one of Italy's premier football clubs.

In a groundbreaking move, representatives from Torino FC, an Italian Premier League Club, will arrive in Lagos for a 3-day scouting and coaches' training program. This initiative, proudly sponsored by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, aims to foster sports development in the state and combat social vices.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, a passionate advocate for youth empowerment through sports, emphasized the significance of this partnership: We recognize the transformative power of sports in shaping our youth's future. By collaborating with Torino FC through ACT Sports, we're creating opportunities for our talented players to shine on the global stage and inspiring positive change in our communities our grassroots sports   Initiatives.

The Torino FC delegation, led by Coach G. Manganozzi, will arrive Lagos in discovering fresh talent and sharing expertise with local coaches. This scouting mission will help us identify potential stars while contributing to the growth of sports in Lagos."

During the 3-day program, selected players will undergo rigorous training sessions, showcasing their technical abilities, tactical awareness, and physical fitness. Coaches from Lagos will also benefit from workshops and clinics conducted by Torino FC's experienced staffs, enhancing their knowledge and coaching methods.

This pioneering partnership between Governor Sanwo-Olu's administration and Torino FC marks a significant milestone in Lagos' sports development journey.
