‘Ogun PDP set for winning ways’ — Toyin Amuzu assures, congratulates new executives




The Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun State is poised to return to its winning ways following the election of new executives at the state level. 

Renowned Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP Chieftain, Chief Toyin Amuzu, stated this while congratulating the newly elected executives of the Ogun State chapter of the party, led by Hon. Abayomi Tella as chairman.

Amuzu described the State congress, which held in Abeokuta and was supervised by INEC officials, as "peaceful, transparent, and a significant step towards reclaiming the party's winning ways."

He said, "the emergence of Hon. Tella and his team marks a new dawn for Ogun PDP. I commend the national body's involvement, as well as the involvement of INEC and Security agencies at ensuring the process's legitimacy".

"There can't be any parallel Congress where there are processes to be followed and there are bodies duly recognized and saddled with the responsibilities of conducting the congress." Amuzu stated.

He expressed confidence in HonTella's leadership, citing his experience as former chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.

"Tella's vision to rejuvenate, rebuild, and reposition the party aligns with our collective aspirations. Under his leadership, Ogun PDP will regain its prominence and deliver electoral victories," Amuzu assured.

Chief Toyin Amuzu however, challenged all the newly elected executives from the state, local government and ward levels to drive membership growth and strengthen party presence.

Amuzu urged party members to unite behind the new executives, emphasizing the need for cohesion and dedication to achieve success.

"With this new leadership, Ogun PDP is poised to regain its winning ways. I call on all members to rally behind Hon. Tella and his team, working together towards a brighter future for our party and state."
