The launch of Oodua 106.9 FM in Ogun State has ignited excitement amongst residents as the management began test transmission of the top class indigenous radio station.
According to a release made available to newsmen on Friday, September 6, 2024, the station will essentially remain an indispensable platform in promoting Yoruba culture, language and traditions through its vast array of programmes and services by a team of seasoned professionals.
“This station promises to deliver unrivalled coverage, insights and commentary, that set the standard for contemporary broadcasting in Nigeria both in English and Yoruba languages,” the release said.

The management added that the station is set to bring topnotch broadcasting contents to every corner of its reach thus enhancing the listening experience for its numerous listeners both in Ogun State and some of of its neighboring Lagos State.
“In addition, Oodua FM will help in its little human capital development capacity by creating employment for qualified youths within our environs whilst also expanding our digital realm,” the statement concluded.
