Meanwhile, The Immediate last Chairman of Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina also secured his ticket to contest November local government championship election due to his unalloyed loyalty for Executive Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
You will recalled that out of the 20 local government chairmen that had a meeting to challenge Governor Abiodun over disbursement of allocation to the local government in Ogun state, Ambassador Adesina Lanrewaju Ogunsola, Folashade Adeyemo and Hon. Sikiru Adesina were the three chairmen that pulled out due to their loyalty for Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Dr. Babatunde Diya - Odogbolu, Ambassador Adesina Lanrewaju Ogunsola - Obafemi-Owode, Hon Afeez Balogun - Abeokuta South and Hon Shodipo - Abeokuta North,Barrister Kehinde Oludare HACCO - Ijebu East has been cleared with their various candidates to contest the forthcoming election.
The fate of Hon. Sikiru Adesina, Folashade Adeyemo and other local government lies in the hands of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun to approve their nominations as the candidate of All Progressives Congress APC.
