The Nigerian Federal Government intends to raise $500 million from domestic and international investors by issuing its domestic bond denominated in dollars on Monday of next week.
Managing Director of Investment Banking at United Capital Group Dr. Gbadebo Adenrele said this on Thursday at a hybrid roadshow with investors hosted by the Debt Management Office (DMO).
The bond, which is the first of its kind in the nation, promises full principle repayment at the conclusion of the five-year period along with bullet payoff at maturity in US dollars.
