Bad road: Prince Asawale Asanike appeals to Gov. Makinde for immediate repair of Liberty Academy road to Mogona Idi Iroko in Oluyole LG



An Ibadan Prince, Asawale Asanike, has appealed to Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the immediate repair of the bad road in opposite Taska, Liberty Academy Road to Mogona Idi Iroko in Oluyole LocL Government areas of Ibadan. 

In a letter addressed to the Governor on August 31, 2024, and made available to newsmen on Saturday, said the road has become nearly impossible to drive or walk on it without risking damage to vehicles and injury to oneself. 

According to him, potholes, cracks, and uneven pavement have become a common sight, and the situation is only getting worse with each passing day.

He added that the road is also affecting the value of the homes in the area and causing inconvenience to residents who have to navigate the rough terrain every day.

Request for Immediate Repairs of the Bad Road in Opposite taska, LIBERTY ACADEMY ROAD TO MOGONA IDI IROKO in OLUYOLE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IBADAN 

 Your Excellency Sir,

“I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the poor condition of the road in LIBERTY ACADEMY ROAD TO MOGONA IDI IROKO , As a resident of this area, I am extremely concerned about the safety of drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians who use this road on a daily basis.

“The road is in such a bad condition that it has become nearly impossible to drive or walk on it without risking damage to vehicles and injury to oneself. Potholes, cracks, and uneven pavement have become a common sight, and the situation is only getting worse with each passing day.

“Not only is the poor condition of the road a safety hazard, but it is also affecting the value of the homes in the area and causing inconvenience to residents who have to navigate the rough terrain every day. The current state of the road is also affecting the ability of emergency vehicles to reach residents in a timely manner, which is a serious concern.

“I strongly request that the government take immediate action to repair the road and make it safe for use. I would also appreciate it if you could provide a timeline for when the repairs are expected to be completed, as well as an explanation of the steps that will be taken to prevent similar problems in the future.

“If you can remember sir I personally messaged you about this road on the 3rd of September 2021 to notify you the untimely death this road has been causing.

“I am confident that with the cooperation of the government, we can work together to make our community a better and safer place to live. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

“Thank you for your time and consideration sir.”
