Successful Tenure: Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina Praises Governor Abiodun For His Support

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA has lend a voice of appreciation to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State for his leadership capability in re-writing the good history of Ogun State in the face of numerous challenges.

The Council boss made the statement in his office during the Management meeting with the members of the Executive,Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Directors, Heads of Departments, NULGE Excos and other Political Functionaries.

Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA further assented to bye law, formulated by the 8th Legislative Council (2021-2024), No 008/2024. Prohibiting unapproved drilling of Boreholes and digging of wells for private and commercial use within the council area.

The Bill was presented by Hon. Kayode Kehinde Akinsola, Leader of the 8th Legislative Council, which was sponsored by Hon. Adeola Abolaji Emmanuel, Deputy Leader and was co-sponsored by Honorables, Bajela Francis Olusegun, Moshood Ibrahim Adebare, Soetan Sabiu Oluwambe, Makinde Ayobami  Ayodele respectively.

He praised everyone for exhibiting an unalloyed loyalty, cooperation and dedication in carrying out the instructions and implementation of policies across board.

"With gratitude to Almighty God that has been with me and my team since inception of our administration and the trust reposed in us by our indefatigable Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON in steering the wheel of Obafemi Owode Local Government in the last 3 years of unrelenting delivery of quality infrastructural development, provisions of quality healthcare and improvement in education sector which has impacted greatly on the pupils in our dear local government, I am delighted to stand before you in appreciation towards your cooperation, dedication, sacrifice and loyalty in the implementation of policies with human face and perceverance  till this moment"

"I thanked NULGE for standing with our administration, inspite of the challenges and shortcomings, particularly on the recently approved minimum wage by His Excellency, President Bola Ahamed Tinubu, GCFR.

"I also thanked the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government for believing in our administration, which spur us to do exceedingly well, with various projects spread across 12 wards that makes our local government area.

"I can't forget our Royal Fathers, who has been supporting us right from the beginning of our  Administration. Also not forgetting our Baales, Iyalojas, Babalojas, Community Development Associations (CDAs), Community Development Committees( CDCs), National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN), Nigerian Police Force, Department of Security Service(DSS), Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, Amotekun, Sosafe corp, Vigilantes and all Security outfits for maintaining peace and security of lives and properties.
