Ogun NUJ lauds Abiodun on appointment of Ogunyinka as Permanent Secretary



The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) , Ogun State Council, has lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for appointing another one of its members, Mr. Bernard Olanrewaju Ogunyinka as Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.

In a statement on Thursday signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Wale Olanrewaju, and Bunmi Adigun, respectively, the Union appreciated the Governor for deeming it fit to appoint one of its members for this exalted position.

The Union strongly believes that the appointment showcases the present administration's resolve to always identify with intelligence and brilliance and also promote a culture of meritocracy.

The Ogun NUJ expressed confidence that Mr. Ogunyinka from the State Ministry of Information and Strategy would put to use his wealth of experience for the overall development and growth of Ogun State.

The Union noted that Ogunyinka's leadership skills, zeal, and dedication would come to bear in his new role.

Ogunyinka  holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Combined Honours) in English and Yoruba Languages from the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye in 1989 and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in April, 1998.
