Ogun Workers Day: Obafemi-Owode LG Chair Fetes Broadcast Journalists, Media Partners

 





The executive chairman, Obafemi Owode local government, Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina has feted the broadcast journalists on the occasion of Workers day today 1st of May 2024 in Abeokuta City. 


The meeting was in commemoration of his awards bagged from Nigeria Labour Congress Ogun state chapter yesterday as the 'Outstanding local government chairman in Ogun state' and to strength the relationship with his people who are working deligebtly to disseminate the information to the public. 


Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina, thought it expedient to have a tete-a-tat with the broadcast journalists to improve the existing relationship eith them. 


He appreciate the broadcast journalists, naming them one after the other to showed he knows them in person, noting that he will do everything within his power to partner with the broadcast journalists to get adequate delivery in the area of democratic government. 








He charged them to advise him, give him ideas that will enable him have a successful administration, stating his door is opened for them for constructive criticism to ensure he succeeds in office. 


The media partners expressed themselves while Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina noted all their suggestions, advises and proposals as he ensured them of immediate action. 


In attendance was Abdul Banky Balogun, Mc Van Garuba, Olusoji Akindiya, Ayinla Egba, Musiliu Sanni Mr Bebe, Ayomide Adetunji Mr Quality, Kikelomo Ogunsina, Emmanuel Oke, Akin Asokere, Adelekan Aderibigbe Lekan Lokos, Omooba Tiyamiyu and the Online Media Practitioners in Ogun state such as, Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo, Amebo Online Newspapers, Babalola Gafar of News Channel, Osoba Olajide of News Angle, Mr Kola Sodehinde information officer of Abeokuta South local government, Amdek Homes CEO among others. 


Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina assured the broadcast journalists that he would work on their suggestions and advises towards a quality delivery to ensure people's interest is well represented in a democratic government.
