NANS Throws Weight Behind Power Minister, Urges Nigerians to Be Patient

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has come out strongly in support of the Minister of Power, urging Nigerians to be patient and offer their backing to the ongoing efforts to reform and improve the nation's power sector.

The statement, issued by the NANS Senate President, Comrade Ekundina Segun Elvis, praises the Minister's dedication, which aligns with President Buhari's vision of a better future for all Nigerians.

NANS highlighted the Minister's recent interviews where he addressed the challenges in the power sector and the steps being taken to overcome them.

NANS expressed their believe that the Minister has a clear understanding of the issues and is actively working on solutions across the entire power system, from generation to distribution.

Expressing confidence in the Minister's initiatives, NANS pointed to the completion of power plants, efforts to improve finances within the sector, and the expansion of electricity access in rural areas. They believe these actions will lead to lasting improvements and a more reliable nationwide power supply.

The statement also defends the Minister against critics. NANS condemns those they believe are motivated by self-interest and are trying to undermine the Minister's work through baseless attacks. They urge the Minister to remain focused and not be distracted by these "self-serving individuals."

NANS pledges its unwavering support for the Minister and his plans, emphasizing the importance of working together to achieve sustainable and dependable electricity for all Nigerians.

The statement concludes with a show of support for the Minister, the Ministry of Power, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
