Ooni Rejoices Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo—Adodo, Wife On Wedding of their daughter, Mrs. Remilekun Akufo—Adodo (Nee Fani—Kayode)



Ooni of Ife rejoices with the Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his wife, Mrs. Remilekun Akufo-Addo (nee Fani-Kayode) on the wedding of their daughter, Mrs. Yeboakua Kwaku (nee Akufo-Addo) on 3rd February, 2024.


Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja the Second and the Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers, while felicitating with the family of the Ghanaian President noted that the invite extended to him is a mark of respect the parents of the bride - President Nana Akufo-Addo and Remilekun - have for the Source of Yoruba race consequent upon he delegated Sooko (Dr.) Kemade Elugbaju, the Sooko Omoniyi of Ife and the Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Ooni, who delivered Kabiyesi's Goodwill Message at the Nuptial Knot event, HRM Oba Sakariyawu Olayigbade (the Olu of Ayede Temidire, Ile-Ife) and the Staff bearer, Moshood Awoyeye. In Kabiyesi's Message, Sooko Omoniyi of Ife pointed out that the importance of the late Balogun of Ife, Chief Remilekun Fani-Kayode coupled with the good things his children have contributed to the development of the Source of Yoruba race, Ile-Ife in particular and Nigeria in general are huge consequent upon which Kabiyesi's presence at the event held at the Presidential Villa, was necessary. Kabiyesi congratulated the Ghanaian President and his wife and prayed for the couple for a lasting relationship blessed with promising children.
