Ogun NUJ Commiserates with Suleiman Fasasi, Ex-officio On Mother’s Death


The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, condoles its Council's Ex-officio and former Secretary of the Correspondents Chapel, Comrade Suleiman Fasasi, on the death of his mother.

According to the press statement signed by Wale Olanrewaju, Chairman ans Bunmi Adigun Secretary, The Union acknowledges the life, legacy, influence and guidance of the departed with utmost respect and admiration which undoubtedly have greatly contributed to the admirable professional and personal qualities exhibited by her children, especially our dear colleague. 

The death of a loved one comes with sober feelings, and we know it hurts, even when the departed is of ripe age. Our hearts, therefore, go out to Alhaji Suleiman Fasasi and the entire family during this difficult time, as we extend our sincerest condolences and pray for strength and comfort as they navigate this profound loss.

As a team, we stand in solidarity and offer our unwavering support as the family mourns the loss of their beloved matriach whose presence will be deeply missed, and her memory cherished forever, having lived an impactful life. 

The council therefore prayed Almighty Allah grant the soul of Mama Rest in eternal peace, and her family find solace in the cherished memories they hold dear.
