A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Mr. Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde, convener of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has sent his warm greetings to the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun as well as all the members of the support group.
Armstrong, in a statement made available to journalists on Monday in Abeokuta through his media consultant, Oluseun Joshua described new year as a time to rejoice with one another and celebrate God's faithfulness once again.
He said "as we enter into the new year I want to rejoice with our leader, our hardworking governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who has remained committed to enhancing socio-economic development of our dear Ogun State since taking over almost five years.
"My prayer is that the Almighty God will continue to strengthen him to record greater achievements in the state. What is left is for the opposition to join hands with Governor Abiodun to develop the State, anything less is another sheer waste of time".
"To our amiable members of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda, we should all imbibe the spirit of love and selflessness in all that we do in the new year, we must be ready sacrifice the more to take Ogun State and indeed, Nigeria to greater height.
“Beyond the celebration of the new year, we must continually show love to one another, we must continually be good to our neighbours, we should always be our brother’s keeper and keep working for the unity of our dear nation.
"It's my pleasure to rejoice with all members of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda in Ogun State and Nigerians, I sincerely have the belief that as we move into year 2024 the prosperity of our dear country shall be renewed with many of our challenges becoming history.
“This conviction is based on the strong commitment of our leaders both Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration and our dear hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who are both working diligently to make life more rewarding for the people.
“I must at this juncture laud our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his unrepentant commitment towards leaving the state far better than he met it as well as his giant strides across the state in this second term in office.
"It's another year of greater opportunities to us as a political body, this year shall be all round success for us".
