Top Business Amazon, Dr. Vanessa Bags Humanitarian of the Year Award


What a year it has been for Dr. Vanessa Idada, the founder of Vankol Homes & Support Services and Safe Haven Foundation who is currently in her season of glory. 

The brilliant barrister who's actively involved in humanitnarian causes got the reward of selfless service to humanity recently when she was honoured by Global Peace Leadership Excellence with the prestigious award of Excellence in Leadership and Outstanding Humanitarian Personality of the Year over the weekend at a colourful event held at Westminister in London, United Kingdom (UK).

Described as one of Nigeria's prides in the diaspora, Dr. Idada has been in the forefront of humanitarian causes. Known for her overflowing milk of human kindness, Dr. Idada has spent a better part of life offering helping hands to causes that will uplift humanity. 

Her foundation has become a ray of sunshine to hundreds of people across the world. For Dr. Idada, its humanity first. That mindset of humanity first has been the essence of her existence. 
She is synonymous with kindness. And it is no surprise that she is reaping bountifully the harvest of her labour of love in the area of service to humanity. 

According to the organizers of the award, the humanitarian honour conferred on Dr. Idada was in recognition of her exceptional humanitarian services over the years. Dr. Idada received the amidst standing ovation alongside other prominent award recipients.

She was decorated by Lord Shaun Baron of Lord Bailey of Paddington and a member, London Assembly, UK. 

The international event witnessed the convergence of high-flying guests including top politicians, professionals of high administrative capacity and the esteemed members of the Nigerian community in London. 

The event also included the conferment of honourary doctorate degrees on outstanding individuals including Dr. Idada. Best known for her bright personality which has won her a wide network of admirers from all walks of life. Dr. Idada's latest honour is a well deserved one. 


In her acceptance speech, Dr. Idada thanked the organizers for the honour. She said the honour will encourage her to do more. She also acknowledged the love and support of her family.
