Labour Party frowns at the Undemocratic conduct of Gov.Obaseki for conniving with Julius Abure,through Mr Olumide Akpata,to fuel more crisis in the party.

Labour Party yesterday was highly disturbed by the level of political intolerance and acts of terrorism meted to Our National Youth Leader, Mr Anslem Eragbe, and some of other Party loyalist beaten blue black by those calling themselves 'Democrats', and 'reformers,' and who are Julius Abure and Olumide Akpata the former President of Nigeria Bar Association loyalists.
These Party Officials being violently beaten in Benin, Edo State were on official duty. These 'Obidiots' should be condemned by all rightful persons and individuals. The action shows the level of intolerance and political bandits that Abure and cohorts are parading.
Ob!diots are nothing but lousy terrorists.
The thugs were mobilised by the Abure and Olumide Akpata to disrupt our Edo state congresses preparatory to our governorship Primary in February 2024 and instil fear on the people as a build up to the Edo State Governorship Election.
Labour Party is aware that the attack by the Abure "attack dogs" is aimed at instilling fear, disrupting the coming Guber primary, by creating a siege mentality on the people and the lovers of democracy by trying to claim the position they have all lost through their selfish and parochial interest. The supreme court also has affirmed that Alhaji Lamidi Apapa remains the National Chairman of Labour Party.
Information available to the Labour Party indicates that the hoodlums were mobilized by Olumide Akpata who is a mole in Our Party as he is put in Labour Party to snitch on the party.

Labour Party want to bring the attention of Mr Olumide Akpata in case he has lost the memory of the history of the NBA that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is a non-profit, umbrella professional association of lawyers admitted to the Bar by Council of Legal Education in Nigeria.
They are so engaged in the promotion and protection of human rights, the rule of law and good governance in Nigeria with an observer status with the African Commission on Human and People's Rights, and a working partnership with many national and international non-governmental organizations concerned with similar goals in Nigeria and in Africa.
Labour Party is therefore at a loss as to why a former president of such a responsible and respected organization will now be involved in an attempted murder and kidnapped of a National Officers of a political party he is seeking to Governed the state through .

Our party is distressed that this action is happening at this an age in Our National polity; the attack by the Abure on our leaders and members, and others need thorough police investigation and prosecution .
The act is a serious attempted murder and those involved must be brought to book to serve as deterrent to others.
If proper action is not taken these people may pose a dangerous trend in our polity and may be an indictment on Nigeria’s security authorities which requires urgent attention.
The party called on the inspector-general of police and the director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS) to direct an immediate investigation into the act that might have paved the way for such unchecked attack on the innocent Nigerians”.
The party demanded that those behind the attack be brought to book immediately.
Labour Party under the headship of Alhaji Lamidi Apapa and other Party loyalists would not be deterred or cowed by the Abure antics and attack dogs to give up the legitimate and constitutional pursuit for the retrieval of Our Party from a forger , criminal conspiratos and fraudsters like Julius Abure.
