Edun who personally supervised the distribution of items running into millions of naira said that the gesture was borne out of his desire to enable the beneficiaries and their family members celebrate the season with ease and Joy despite the hardship in the country.
While urging the constituents to ensure they celebrate the new year in the absence of troubles said.
“Christmas and new year celebration is known to be a season of love and sharing, particularly with those who don’t have.
“This may not be enough, but with this little, I believe it will go a long way in supporting some families to celebrate Christmas and New Year well.”
He called on the people of Abeokuta South to continue to pray for peace and continue to support him in his efforts to bring more projects to the constituency and the state by supporting him in the forthcoming election.
He assured that whatever was due to Abeokuta South and the State will not elude the people.
