The President of the Nigerian Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, and the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, are among dignitaries expected to grace the grand finale of the 2023 Yewa Cultural Festival holding this Saturday in Ilaro.
Senator Akpabio who will lead a powerful team of National Assembly members to the event is the Chairman of the occasion while Governor Abiodun is the Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony holding at the Asade Agunloye Ultra Modern Pavilion, Ilaro.
According to the organizers of the programme being held under the aegis of the Yewa Traditional Council and the Yewa People Development Council, arrangements are in place to have a successful ceremony full of pomp and pageantry.
The Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle will lead other Obas of the Yewa Traditional Council, Chiefs and prominent sons and daughters of Yewaland to celebrate the rich culture and tradition of the region.
The Yewa Cultural Festival is also expected to promote the cultural heritage of the Yewa people and enhance unity and socio-economic development in the area.
