AIKULOLA TURNS 58, INAUGURATES NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION


The Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola, has unveiled a non-profit and non-governmental organisation ( NGO) with the core mandate of providing formidable platforms for the less privileged and indigents to reach their full potentioals. 

Aikulola, who turned 58 on Saturday, October 28, said  the organisation, OLU.OLA. FOUNDATION (OOF), will  optimize the potentials of children, youths and societally deprived women through the provision of required support system which is rooted in Christ love.  

He noted that the foundation shall focus on four core areas, including, Human Resource Development and Promotion of Excellence; Helping the Needy and the Vulnerable via Scholarship to Indigent but Brilliant Pupils and Students in Primary, Secondary & Tertiary institutions.

Others are gifting uniforms and foot wears, money, food, clothing to the needy, Evangelism, Outreaches and Annual Lecture on Topical and  Relevant Issues.

The Permanent Secretary who marked the day by 
offering scholarships  to some identified brilliant pupils of his alma mater, St. Paul's African Primary School, Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area and empowering a number of indigents,promised that  the OOF is a life-long pursuit even after retiring from the public service. 

"Our mission is to promote the welfare of the less privileged especially the youths and women, support widows, the aged and handicapped orphans in the society.

"We will build self-reliant youths through entrepreneurial programs. We shall promote education for all especially for youths through award of scholarships to indigent children and students.
promote peace, unity and development for sustainable community development,"he said.
