The Not-Too-Young-To-Lead-Initiative has congratulated the Commissioners Sworn-in today Monday 22nd August 2023 by the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori. Executive Director of the Not-Too-Young-To-Lead-Initiative, Ambassador Elvis Akpobi made this know in a statement issued from the United Nations House, Monrovia, Liberia where he is leading a delegation of youths from Delta State to the ongoing African Young Political Leadership School Cohort 10.
While congratulating them, Ambassador Akpobi charged them to give their best and ensure they give enviable meaning yo leadership, adding that their "...actions and inactions will either close or open more doors of Leaderhip opportunities for young Deltans.
Ambassador Akpobi used the opportunity to thank the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his determination towards youth inclusion, while also calling on Deltans to support his administration.
The youths being congratulated by the Not-Too-Young-To-Lead-Initiative according the statement are "Jerry Ehiwario, Charles Aniagwu, Dr Kingsley Ashibuogwu, Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, Darlington Ijeh, Barr Funyei Manager, Hon Godknows Angele, Dr Joseph Onojaemo,

Delta Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori will on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, swear-in the newly appointed 26 Commissioners-designate as members of the State Executive Council.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu on Saturday indicating that the ceremony would take place at the Event Centre, Okpanam Road, Asaba.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the swearing-in ceremony is coming after over two weeks the nominees were screened by the state house of assembly.
