It is unfortunate that some Yoruba people who claimed to be Ilorin indigenous come out publicly and swear with Quran on social media that Ilorin does not belong to Yorubas (Afonja) and said Ilorin belongs to Fulanis (Geri Alimi)
1. Systematically seeing themselves and Yorubas in Ilorin as a slave
2. Telling the whole world that Yoruba indegenours people in Ilorin are customary tenants to Fulanis in Ilorin kwara State
3. Trying to sell Yorubas in Ilorin kwara State to Fulanis
Implications
1. Fulanis can wake-up tomorrow and Sue all Yorubas living in Ilorin kwara State to court and say they don't want Yoruba indegenours people in their fatherland with the evidence circulating on social media platforms made by those Yorubas
2. Fulanis can use those videos to claim some parts of Yorubas farmlands, villages in Ilorin as a rightful owner of the land since there are confessionals videos evidence made by those Yorubas in court and win
Can we consider those people as ignorant or betrayals? After all there are many history books that said Ilorin Afonja belongs to Yorubas what are they going to gain if Ilorin takes over 100% by Fulanis?
Aare ona kakanfo of Yorubaland sent a letter to the governor of Kwara state his excellency Abdul Rahman Abdul Rasaq about what is going on in Ilorin kwara state and the solutions and brief history of Ilorin the latter was copy the Emir of Ilorin and the commissioner of police kwara state unfortunately some some Yorubas ignorance come out on social media condemned Aare ona kakanfo of Yorubaland Aare Gani Adams and his truthful speeches
To my surprise some indigenous people of Ilorin even said Aare Gani Adams has no right to intervene in the crisis going on between Muslims and traditional worshipers so unfortunate the question is if Aare Dr Gani Adams didn't intervene who else should intervene?
If Aare Gani Adams failed to support Yorubas who else will support or are they forget Ilorin is one of Yorubaland and speaking language? Do they forget that the 15th Aare ona kakanfo of Yorubaland represents all Yorubas home and abroad?
Advise
The Yoruba leaders and elders including Kwara state government should start condemning those people and their videos to avoid future war between Yorubas and Fulanis in Ilorin kwara State and stand by the truth as a matter of urgency
