IBD Foundation Founder, Lara Dende Organises Free Skills Acquisition Programme For Ogun Indigenes To Mark Birthday



Young Ogun State males and females especially those from yewa extraction between the age of 18 and above are in for a life-changing experience as one of the biggest charity organizations in Ogun State, IBD Foundation, have announced plans to state 'A Lara Dende Empowerment Initiative' an all encompassing empowerment initiate billed to hold on September 7th & 8th, 2023 at National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN centre located at Orita, Ilaro,  Ogun State.

According to Mrs Lara Dende, the brand behind the project, in a statement said that the historic project which is organized as part of activities to mark her 42nd birthday will feature a range of empowerment initiatives specially for young Yewa girls from age 18 and above including Hair Styling, Wig Making, Make-Up, Cake Making, Gele Styling, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Photography and Cinematography. 

Already, several instructors have been contacted by the organizers. These includes instructors for Make-Up, Hairstylist, Wig Maker, Videographer and Photographer, Gele Artist, Digital and Marketing, Liquid Soap Making and Baker.

The Lara Dende Empowerment Initiative is a project for youth empowerment, particularly Yewa decendants and for those in Ogun state at large. It is a project driven by the passion to empower young women and inspire them to create wealth through entrepreneurship.

Instructors at the empowerment programme will focus on how young women can create sustainable businesses and become job creators and support their families. 

Best known for her philanthropic heart, Lara Dende is a humanitarian of international repute. She has carved an enviable niche alongside her philanthropist husband, Ibrahim Dende as one of the shinning lights of Yewa land.
