Member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Wahab Abiodun Egungbohun has commended the founder of IBD Foundation, Mrs Omolara Dende Egungbohun for her commitment to empowering Ogun youths through two days empowerment initiate as parts of activities in line to mark her birthday Anniversary.
The lawmaker explained that the empowerment programme will enable the participants to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the nation.
Hon. Egungbohun, representing Yewa North State Constituency (II) in a statement issued and signed by himself described the movement as commendable adding that it will not only benefit the young people in attendance but also Yewa Indigenes, Ogun State and the Nigerian economy at large.
He said government can not resolve the issues of unemployment alone, therefore "A Lara Dende Empowerment Initiative" which was designed to address the challenge of unemployment through skills and entrepreneurship development will be an avenue for young ladies to take advantage of.
"I believe this is how we can togetherness develop our community and country without putting everything on government, individually have responsibility to take in contributing to development of the society just like foreign countries do without depending much on their government .
