Eid-el Kabir: Sofela felicitates Muslims, urges them to uphold peace, harmony

ABEOKUTA — The  All Progressives Congress Ogunstate party stalwart Hon.Mr. Emmanuel Adebola Sofela felicitates the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid el Kabir, the festival of sacrifice.

He donated cash, rams and bags of rice to support the Muslims celebration across Ogun Central District.

However, he called for prayers for Ogun state and the country in this challenging time and to be hopeful that things  would get better for Nigerians in the new dispensation of “ renewed hope” under the leadership of president bola ahmed Tinubu .

Emmanuel Adebola Sofela in a message of felicitation to the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of  of Eid-el-Kabir, urged Muslims  brothers and sisters to live in example of Prophet Mohammed ( SWT) who showed love, faith and sacrifice,” it read in part.

Sofela also commended the resilience of citizens in these tough times and prayed for the blessings of Allah for their  immense sacrifices .

“Mr Emmanuel Adebola Sofela urged the Muslim community to keep hope alive, and to celebrate Eid el-Kabir in compliance with public security protocols to protect everyone from unforeseen dangers.

Sofela, while distributing bags of rice to the six local governments under Ogun Central  District appealed to all communities to uphold peace and harmony, giving and sharing as we celebrate Eid-el  kabir .He urged all residents to remain vigilant and be law-abiding .
