Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed that goalkeeper Edouard Mendy could leave Chelsea for a new club this summer.
Romano said that Mendy’s future at Stamford Bridge could hinge on who becomes Chelsea’s next permanent manager.
Mendy’s current contract with Chelsea will expire in 2024. The Senegalese international, however, could be sold by the west London club this summer transfer window.
Speaking about Mendy’s future at Chelsea, Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Friday, wrote: “Edouard Mendy could leave Chelsea at the end of the season in case of good proposal for both sides, still waiting on new coach final decision on GK situation.
“Mendy signed last week with Lian Sports agency; Fali Ramadani will be the new agent taking care of his future.”
