As the race to position the principal officers of the house of representatives and senate begins, Rt. Honorable Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka has pleaded with his colleagues in the green chambers to ensure they elect only capable hands, people who are credible, members who have the love of Nigeria at heart and ready to serve the people.
Isiaka is representing the good people of Ifo and Ewekoro federal constituency for the third term with numerous projects to ease life and put smiles to the cheeks of the residents of his constituency.
During his previous eight years in the green chambers, Isiaka has been able to achieve lots of people's oriented projects across the two local governments respectively.
Those projects paved way for him to win in a landslide to victory for the third term in the federal house of representatives in the February 25th, 2023 general election.
Isiaka while speaking on the 10th Assembly leadership election during a live program 'Politics Today' on Channels Televison over the weekend, he said party is supreme and all the members of All Progressives Congress, APC in the house of representatives are going with the party's directive and interest in electing the new leadership of the Federal House of Representatives.
_"We have not even talked about the zoning of the national assembly leadership, because it is the party that will lead while we ensure we put the best minds forwards"_
"So, it's not about any individual interest yet, all of us 283 elected members are all ready to move according to the direction of the party, in which we believe every factors will be considered." he said.
Meanwhile, He maintained that the members of house of representatives are waiting for the leadership of the party to give them go ahead in electing the principal officers who will be saddled with the responsibilities of the National Assembly for the next four years.
