The deputy minority whips Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majeed Adekoya has reaffirm his membership in the People's Democratic Party PDP even after loosing election to the opposition party today 13th of March, 2023.

According to Adekoya, he said "I remain firm with PDP. I'm a NEC member of the party. 'Jumpology' in political party is meant for political harlots and shameless political merchants.” during his interview with the journalists in Abuja.

He lauded the people of Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside and the entire residents of Ogun state to disregard the news of his defection to the All Progressives Congress APC after the house of representatives election.
