The Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and Honourable Member representing Odogbolu Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Asiwaju Atinuke Bello has commiserated with the family General Oladipupo Donaldson Diya, whose death was announced early hours of today after the ripe age of 78.
Bello in a condolence message expressed that the Former Chief of General Staff and de facto Vice President of Nigeria under military head of state, General Sani Abacha, from 1994 to 1997 lived a worthy life through his chosen career, expressing that the deceased will forever have a place in the book of history as a hero that contributed massively to the development of our great nation.
The lawmaker also extends condolences to the Alaye of Odogbolu, HRH. Alayeluwa Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa over the loss of one of the pride of the Odogbolu Community whilst also sympathizing with Sons and Daughters of Odogbolu in Nigeria and beyond.
She prayed to God to repose the soul of General Oladipupo Donaldson Diya and abide with all he left behind.
