Not fewer than seven women was reportedly burnt beyond recognition in the inferno on Sagamu to Benin expressway today 28th of December, 2022 in Ogun state.
According to Commander Osibanjo F, the commander in charge of Ijebu-Ode division said the engine of the Mazda bus with registration number ( AGL 886 YD ) having 14 females and 1 male caught fire on motion due to overfloating of the engine which lead to fire leaving seven females burnt beyond recognition.
Other injured victims were quickly rescued by men of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC and Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE to general hospital in Ijebu-Ode while the traffic was controlled by the agencies.
