Billionaire and head of the world’s largest electric vehicle company, Elon Musk has said that the world needs more oil and gas output.
This statement comes amidst the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the world’s notable dependence on Russian pipelines.
Musk tweeted, "Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil & gas output immediately.
"Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures.
“Obviously, this would negatively affect Tesla, but sustainable energy solutions simply cannot react instantaneously to make up for Russian oil & gas exports."
