A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State who also doubles as the 2023 House of Representatives hopeful representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Hon Kenny Bello has admonished the residents of Ogun State to live in peace, unity and harmony as the state celebrates its 46 years of existence.
He made this known on Thursday while fielding questions from journalists at his Lagos residence.
"The political history of Nigeria is not completed without mentioning the contributions of some great people from Ogun State, the likes of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (former Nigerian President), late Ernest Shonekan, the Head of Interim National Government (ING) to mention but a few" he added.
He noted further that Ogun State is always a gateway and pacesetter for good governance in Nigeria.
He, however, urged residence of the state to always consider the antecedents of each politician seeking elective positions before voting for them in the 2023 general elections.
He enlightened further that Ogun State has large numbers of human resources among the comity of states in the country, therefore the state should not lack capable hands that could turn the state to paradise on Earth in terms of good governance and quality representation.
In a related development, Kenny Bello has enumerated quality representation, spontaneous feedback mechanism to be his watchwords if given the chance to represent the good people of Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in the coming political dispensation.
