ABEOKUTA— Ogun State House of Assembly hopeful for Abeokuta South state constituency 1, Hon Olanrewaju Ebenezer Sowunmi, has assured his constituents of effective representation, promising that he would give special attention to empowerment programmes for the people if elected.
Olanrewaju Showunmi, who spoke in Abeokuta with Amebo Newsaper NG, yesterday, said: “I will make sure that all the public schools in Abeokuta South constituency 1 are in good shape. Public schools will not die. I will also promote empowerment programmes for youths, women and even widows. Physically challenged will also enjoy special attention because of their special needs.”
He enjoined residents of the area to endeavour to have their Permanent Voter Cards, PVC, stressing that it was their right to choose who governs them.
“Your PVC is your power to decide who governs you. I want to appeal to all my brothers and sisters in our local government to make sure you have your PVC as it is your power. I also urge those residing in Abeokuta South 1 and other parts of the state that are from our constituency to get their PVCs and make sure they registered at home,” he added.
