Some months before the end of 2021, the federal government of Nigeria announced that there will be fuel subsidy removal in 2022 which will automatically means the increase of fuel price.
This was greeted by several reactions and one of the influential people that commented was Primate Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
He advised the federal government against removing fuel subsidy because it will lead to massive protest and hardship in the land.
He made it known to the government that there is hardship in the land already and removing fuel Subsidy is not in the best interest of the citizens.
Yesterday, the FG announced that it will be putting plans to remove fuel Subsidy on hold till further notice.
This no doubt means that the federal government listened to Primate Ayodele's advice on fuel Subsidy Removal.
