Earlier today, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ijebu North Branch successfully concluded the 2nd edition of her annual marathon race.
The race featured about One hundred (100) male and female athletes including promising kids within the local government.
It spanned through 11.7 kilometers that kicked started at under-bridge, station, Ijebu Igbo stretched to Oru station/Itamerin junction/Oba Adenugba road/Ibipe road/Igan road and terminated at Efunseke crescent, Ago-Iwoye.
The sponsor, Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives empowers 6 athletes with One million naira (#1,000,000) and twenty five thousand naira (#25,000) each as consolation cash gifts to 14 other athletes while 6 kid athletes also received ten thousand naira (#10,000) each.

1. Banwo Mayowa - 1st
2. Oladipupo Olanrewaju - 2nd
3. Johnson Isaac - 3rd
Female category:
1. Talabi Oyinkansola -1st
2. Taiwo Fatomah - 2nd
3. Adeyemi Aanuoluwapo - 3rd.
In his remark, Attacker assures the youths of continuous engagement and sponsorship of legitimate programs that will better the future of youths in their various professional fields.
Other youth engagement programs he has sponsored include gainful employment into government Ministries, Department and Agencies, Scholarships to indigent students in public and private secondary schools and higher institutions, human capacity development trainings, sporting competition such as soccer and marathon race.
ATTACKER tasked the coordinating body, NYCN Ijebu North Branch to adhere strictly to ensuring the involvement and discovery of talents among youth of Ijebu Igbo, Ago-Iwoye, Oru, Awa and Ilaporu, Ijebu North Local Government.
The youngest of the athletes, Odeyemi Doris, 6 years old reaffirmed her strength and talent by running 11.7 kilometers distance compared to 9.3 kilometers she ran last year.
Denis surprised the sponsor, Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya (ATTACKER) with gift in appreciation to the scholarship she's enjoying at Prince Abdel-Majid Foundation (PAM) Foundation, a non-governmental organization that have been assisting thousands of Nigerians over the last 2 decades in numerous areas of need such as scholarships to indigent students, free health care sponsorship, social care for the aged and financial aid to men and women.
