The erstwhile, local government chairman of Ifo local government, Hon. Fola Salami has congratulated the chairman of Riders and Owners of Motocycle Organization (ROMO) Alhaji Rasak Shotayo also know as Sholebo over the upcoming commissioning of the state of art Secretariat complex and launching of the construction of Orthopaedic clinic of the Union.
Hon. Salami also congratulated the exco of ROMO for giving Alhaji Sotayo (Sholebo) the enablement and needed support to embark and complete the project.
Hon. Fola acknowledged that aside the secretariat complex which will help in the administrative duties of the association, the Union's Orthopeedic clinic when completed will help to address the gaps between the union and its members as it concerns health and social well-being. As members registered under the umbrella of ROMO and having bone fracture issues can now have medical checks arising from accident courtesy of the great initiative initiated by Dr. Rasak Shotayo.
He also gave words of encouragement to the Union's leadership for the thought out plan of a compulsory registration for all commercial riders in Ogun which would help in combating crimes and other forms of abnormalities experiences between riders and commuters.
Hon. Fola Salami finally urged other transport unions to tap into the innovative ideas of ROMO so as to make Ogun state a safe place for all.
