New Year Message: Prince Adewale Adeshina greets constituents, extend greetings to political leaders

...call for unity, caution youths against political thuggery.

Prince Adewale Adeshina popularly call Feelingcool, have sent warm greetings to party leaders in Ago Iwoye, Oru, Awa, Ilaporu and its environs on the occasion of new year celebrations.

In a statement made available to the media yesterday in Abeokuta by the "Feelingcool Media Team (FMT)", Prince Adewale Adeshina, in his new year greetings to political leaders in Ijebu North ll State Constituency, he charged them to constructively join hands together to work to build the areas in the interest of the citizens, and in the interest of strengthening communal stability and security. 

Prince Adewale Adeshina noted that, Ifelodun constituency is blessed with distinguished and eminent sons and daughters who are doing wonderfully well in all sphere of their chosen careers. It is worthy of note that the dynamic development of Ifelodun lies on your collaboration, cooperation, unity and peaceful coexistence. 

"I am genuinely using this medium to call on our political, community and opinion leaders to join hands together for the betterment of our people, to develop and build Ifelodun of our dream.

The APC stalwart and Ogun State House of Assembly hopeful (Ijebu North ll State Constituency) in 2023, Prince Adewale Adeshina (Feelingcool) has equally expressed his displeasure over vandalization of political campaign materials in the area. He noted that the era of fight-to-finish in politics and needles bitterness is an archaic and obsolete system of politicking and should be buried.

Prince Adewale Adeshina also noted that, political thuggery is an aspect of social violence which is devastating in Nigerian democracy. The menace has become detrimental to democratic sustainability in Nigerian politics in which thugs move mostly in groups victimising, terrorising, intimidating, and injuring innocent individuals and politicians. 

"Politics should be played as a clean game and not used as weapon for fomenting hatred and bitterness among our people. In Ifelodun constituency, we should live up to our reputation as an enlightened people and eschew inflammatory utterance and actions that may jeopardize our unity and peaceful coexistence.

"At all time, the welfare, progress and overall good interest of our communities to be served must be paramount over and above all other considerations. 

Prince Adewale hereby advised youths against offering themselves to be used as thugs by desperate politicians.

“The youths must see themselves as tools of unity and development; they should be interested in a better tomorrow and be ready to plan for it not to be used as tools for destruction by politicians that would dump them thereafter, "he said.
