.....Vows To Shut Ogun State If Sango Road Is Not Fixed

SANGO—OTTA - The organised union led by Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Ogun State has given Federal Government of Nigeria under the ministry of Works and Housing twenty one days ultimatum to fix Sango to Abeokuta express roads which is in deplorable state or face total shutdown of the state.
According to Comrade Emmanuel Bankole, Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC in Ogun state, he called on Federal Government of Nigeria, Ogun State government to Comr to the aid of the people of Sango Ota residents by fixing the bad roads with immediate effect, he said the road has been in deplorable state since these years with no repairs.

"Enough is Enough, Fix Roads In Ota"
"Repair our roads with immediate effect, or face the wrath of the msses"
"400% Hike in transport fare due to bad roads"
"Our roads are death traps, fix our roads.."
"No Good roads, No payment of tax"
"Industries in ota are relicating and shutting down due to bad roads"
"Our Tax are meant for development, so what happened?"
"We are imploring the Federal Government through the Ministry of Works and Housing to embark on the repair within 21-Days, or else we are going to shut down Ogun state if nothing is done on the roads, we are equally appealing to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to assist in fast tracking the commencement of the repairs of the expressways to enable motorists have smooth drive, improve economy of the state as well as reduce hazards met on the roads on a daily basis..." He said.
Also, he charged the residents of Sango axis to be ready to join the organised labour in shutting down Ogun State if the repairs are not done by the Federal Government of Nigeria within the ultimatum period. 1
