Labour Party candidate begins campaign, assures residents of adequate representation



The Labour Party councilorship candidate for Oba ward in the Obafemi Owode LG, Comr Yekinni Ibraheem Adewale has assured the residents of maximum representation if he get elected in the July 24 LG election scheduled to hold in the State,

The graduate of Political Science while speaking at a campaign fora in Adigbe a suburb of Oba ward, he renewed his commitment to give back to the society and sponsor bills that will seek to improve the lives of the people,

While also meeting with community leaders, youth and students groups, Comr Yekinni while noting of his antecedent as a former honorable member and a former General Secretary of the Students' Union in the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago iwoye said he understands what it means to represent his people at the ward level, and will not shy away in bringing and facilitating developmental projects that will ease the lives of his constituents.

He however encouraged voters too shine their eye as elections draw closer and should not be swayed by money, rather they should seek to see the blueprints and plans of any intending candidates, he also encourage residents to register in the ongoing INEC online registration as it is their right to get registered and exercise their franchise in any elections, he encouraged them to troop out en masse and vote massively for the Labour Party, 

He recently completed his Master's degree in Political Science from the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago iwoye.
